Bo is a foreclosure dog - his people left him chained in the backyard when they moved out. He was pretty traumatized by that, but has finally broken through his shell and what a wonderful dog! Bo is a Golden Retriever/German Shepherd mix. He's about 2 or 3 years old and he's smart, sweet, playful and loves children.

Mishka is 3 years old and weighs almost 8 lbs. She and her kittens were rescued from people who were going to "dump" the kittens. Mishka had never been inside, but she's certainly taken to it. She's very well mannered and a very sweet cat.

Lewis is everything you'd want in a best friend. He's very friendly, charming, good with other dogs and children. He loves to watch movies and go for walks. He also enjoys playing outside and laying quietly at your feet. He is a true gentleman. He would not dream of pottying in the house or jumping uninvited on the sofa or bed. He calmly allows himself to be bathed and brushed. He likes car rides in the country.

Bear II is a shepherd mix. He's currently about 20 weeks old and has had an interesting life. He came from the HEEL program at the women's jail so he already knows sit, stay, down, sit on approach, he's house trained and crate trained and more! He gets along with everyone, bunnies included.

I am misunderstood. People call me goofy, a heathen but I'm just an overgrown puppy. OK, I haven't made the mental leap that humans are different than dogs, but I'm young, really smart and I look really good! Hey, I just need someone who's good with dogs and has the patience of a saint. I'll grow up eventually and be a love machine. Right now I need lots of exercise - got anything to herd? A tired Duffy is a good Duffy. Anyways, you can't go wrong with me - well, maybe you can but I'm a great dog, tres smart (see,? I speak French!) and eager to learn so rescue me!
